Levels, awards, daily rewards and missions in Chalo Jantar Mantar, explained
Chalo Jantar Mantar rewards you for playing well and for coming back. Here is everything you can earn, how it is counted and what it unlocks.
XP and levels
Every match you finish gives you XP:
- +20 for finishing the match;
- +30 if your side won;
- your score divided by ten, up to +60;
- +15 for each award you won.
Practice matches against bots give half, so online play levels you up faster. During some festival weeks, such as Diwali, all XP is doubled. You don't get XP for a match you leave halfway.
There are eight levels, with a title for each side:
| Level | XP | ✊ Andolankari | 👮 Dilli Police | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | Naya Andolankari | Constable | — |
| 2 | 100 | Naara Baaz | Head Constable | Black kurta |
| 3 | 300 | Kafila Leader | ASI | Pagdi with a kalgi |
| 4 | 600 | Dharna Ustaad | Sub-Inspector | Saffron kurta |
| 5 | 1,000 | Andolan Neta | Inspector | Gold gamchha |
| 6 | 1,600 | Neta-ji | ACP | Golden safa |
| 7 | 2,500 | Jan Nayak | DCP | Gold kurta |
| 8 | 4,000 | Loknayak | Commissioner | A gold star by your name |
Your level shows next to your name in the match lists, so other players can see how far you have come.
Match awards
When a match ends, the best players get awards: Match MVP (most points), Sabse bada kafila (biggest kafila), Barricade tod (most barricades broken), Naara king (most naaras), Dharna ka sher (most dharna), Sabse zyada detain (most leaders detained) and Rasta band (most barricades put up). Each award you win is worth extra XP and appears on your shareable match card.
The weekly top 10 and the champion's crown
Points from online matches add up to a weekly leaderboard, with a top 10 for each side. The week runs Monday to Sunday, India time. Last week's number one on each side wears a gold crown over their head for the whole of the next week, with a 👑 next to their name.
Daily rewards
Open the game once a day and take your daily reward from the popup. It grows each day you come back in a row: 20, 30, 40, 60, 80 and 100 XP, then 150 XP on day 7, along with the "Hafte bhar ka sipahi" badge and, the first time, the sipahi safa. Miss a day and it starts again from day 1.
Daily challenge and weekly missions
Each day there is a challenge for each side, such as breaking three barricades or detaining five leaders. From 2 November, each week also brings three missions, one for each side and one for both, worth 150 XP each.
Badges
Badges mark moments: your first viral interview, freeing 50 people from detention buses, leading a kafila of 100, winning a round on each side, escaping a bus, a dharna by candle light and more. Collect them all from the Badges screen in the menu.
Festival rewards
Festivals bring their own looks to the city, and sometimes their own rewards. During the Diwali week, finishing a single match earns the Diwali kurta and a lit diya to carry, and they are yours to keep.
Is it pay to win?
No. Nothing in the game can be bought, and none of these rewards changes how strong you are. Clothes, titles and crowns are just for show. Matches are won by tactics and teamwork.
